Care guide

1

Washing

You can wash your down jacket with your usual machine.

Use 1/2 capful of detergent without fabric softener on a 20°C wool programme.

In order for your down jacket to retain its fluffiness during the wash, we recommend that you wash it with other clothes or put two clean tennis balls on, this allows the Primaloft to air out during the wash.

2

Spinning

We advise you to do a single gentle spin cycle at a maximum of 600 rpm to avoid the agglomeration of the Primaloft and the formation of balls that are difficult to undo.

When you take your down jacket out of the washing machine, it is normal for it to be flattened, due to the passage of water.

It is during the drying phase that your down jacket will regain its down.

3

Drying

To aerate the filling and favorise its even distribution in the tube, we recommend drying in a tumble dryier with a synthetic program.

Add two tennis balls or a sufficient amount of clothing and do two or three drying cycles until the filling is completely dry and the insulation regain their swelling.

Do not hesitate to pat your down jacket between drying cycles to distribute everything evenly in the tube.

Notice

If you don't have a tumble dryer, dry your down jacket on a flat drying rack. Pat and turn the jacket regularly several times a day to avoid small packages in the sausages. However, it may take several days before regaining a generous loft. Check that the jacket is in the open air on both sides.

CAUTION: Never dry the jacket on a radiator.

1

Washing

Machine wash with all zippers and velcro fasteners closed.

Use only mild liquid detergent or a special detergent for sports products (no washing powder). Do not use fabric softener (it damages the water-repellent treatment).

Run a wash cycle at 30° as indicated on the care labels sewn into the garment. And we recommend a double rinse to remove all traces of detergent.

Do not dry-clean, as this will permanently damage the garment's technical features.

2

Spinning

We recommend a single conventional spin cycle at 1200 rpm.

3

Drying

Gentle drying or ironing is also recommended to revive the garment's water repellency.

Notice

To revive water repellency after 6 to 10 washes, you can use a special detergent or water-repellent treatment (available in specialized stores).

Regular care of your garment will help optimize its technical qualities (in particular, the evacuation of perspiration, which may no longer be possible if the membrane pores are blocked).
